Whitespace's interactive marketing team is being strengthened with the appointment of Deborah Hebb. Deborah will head up our search marketing division and provide a wealth of expertise to existing as well as new clients. Said Marketing Director Karen Woodhead: " As a marketing led company we support clients from commercial planning through to post launch promotion and analysis. Deborah will help strengthen our team further and we are delighted she is joining us."
Andrew Machin joins in the interactive team as senior web designer. Andrew brings ten years experience of advanced level Flash scripting and design and has worked with a global client base. It has taken months of intensive searching to find the right skills and aptitude. We are delighted to welcome him on board.
Wincanton, one of Europe's largest supply chain logistic operators has retained Whitespace to develop the strategy for its new European website. Working with the UK, German, French and Polish marketing teams Whitespace will identify and develop commercial opportunities for the site leading up to a possible redesign later in the year.
Whitespace have won a 3-way pitch to design and build the new consumer website for Iceland Foods. The new site will support Iceland's through the line marketing. Said Whitespace Marketing Director, Karen Woodhead: "Our mix of strategy, ideas, brand design and technical programming means we can support Iceland from the ground up, particularly opportunities for website and instore marketing integration. We are absolutely delighted to be working with them." The site goes live in September 2007.
Barclays' Learning Division in Canary Wharf are working closely with Whitespace to develop an online learning capability for its 33,000 staff. The ongoing project will transform how Barclays develop their staff.
Jacuzzi have appointed Whitespace to develop their UK online strategy and produce 4 websites for their consumer and retail markets. 'Jacuzzi for You' will sell Jacuzzi branded bath oils and hot tub cleaning products to new and existing customers and the retail site will enable fast ordering, white labelling and other sales support features. All sites will go live by the summer.
Barnsley Development Agency have awarded a 12 month contract to Whitespace to help them create digital literature using internet based technology and other new media and design support. The feature will allow BDA to cut down on print costs while allowing them to produce 'on the fly' branded collateral targetted to each individual enquirer. To secure the contract Whitespace fought off stiff competition from across the North of England. In line with strict European procurement procedures all areas of our business were put under the microscope including our capabilities, our previous experience and track record. The contract will run until January 2008 with a possible extension thereafter.
Whitespace have been appointed by Financial Services organisation Police Mutual to develop a customer orientation strategy and creative structure for their new website. The website will be built by CMS giants, Immediacy around their leading content management system with support from Police Mutual's in house team.

After a five way pitch Whitespace’s interactive department have been appointed to create the website for Barnsley’s Inward Investment Agency BDA.
